Spectral properties of signals. Sampling and quantization. Digital filters and their properties. Synthesis of Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters - Fourier's method. Windowing and digital signal processing - spectral characteristics. Convolution theorem. Synthesis of Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) filters - methods of invariant impulse response and bilinear transform. Discrete Fourier Transform. Fast Fourier and Hartley transforms. Signal processors. Linear methods of short-term signal analysis.
